the only thing that strikes me when you walk along the sidewalk around Bali which sells clothing is the relative similarities content of each store. "Same same but different" really takes on a new dimension here. Even Seminyak shops are all essentially made of throwbacks to make it 80 and 90 and I struggle to see any real originality with "wow" factor, with the exception of a couple of designers that I hope to examine issues later.

It was heartening to see that there is now Rumble Girl - a Rock Bali n 'Roll / Rockabilly / Punk Rock and the concept of urban streetwear store. This store has seen a gap in the market of female more down-to-earth, which probably would have hidden a skateboard under his arm rather than a Gucci clutch. You will find something hooded shirts, brands such as Rumble, Dickies, Electrohell, Surfer Girl and many others. I was lucky enough to score a styley trucker cap with branding Rumble Girl posting a lipstick that was broken in two. Their other logo displays a pair of boxing gloves with XO (hug and kiss) on the gloves, that I might interpret as meaning "Fight for Love".

Rumble Girl is for girls with a little attitude fail. There is a store I great respect for it came from a place of vision with the heart by the owners, husband and wife, Liz Oprandi and Leo Sinatra opened the store there three months. It serves four companies merged into one; clothing and jewelry store, café and music venue. Leo, a well known musician with his band Suicidal Sinatra, designs and sells jewelry in the store with his St. Lukas label, named after their son a year. There are unisex pieces that will definitely appeal to tattoo culture that is very popular with locals and expats alike. I especially appreciated its range of silver rings, especially the design of lucky horse shoes. Nice work Leo.

This place is located right next to Hardy on Jl. Raya Batu Bulan and you can not miss with its impressive graffiti wall piece showing a pin up 1940s girl on a old motorcycle school. St Lukas cafe is the perfect place to stop and have a coffee after your shopping or on your way relay or Ubud. With cappuccinos are surprisingly cheap 10k each, you really want to get your caffeine fix here.

The last detail, and probably one of the most important, is that Rumble Girl provides a platform to showcase local talent and to be a meeting place for young people in the region the night. As Liz says: "I wish Rumble girl can be an inspiration for young people, especially young local girls to start their own bands and express themselves through music"

Groups. solo artists perform on Thursday by at Sunday evening. in the short time of operation, they have organized charity events to raise funds and awareness for disadvantaged children and orphanages with leading Indonesian groups such as Superman own Bali died supporting. growing up with a father who worked for a charity, Liz was raised with a very strong awareness of social problems and continues to demonstrate a commitment to making a difference is wonderful to see. Rumble girl is not only a business, but a place where young locals can hang safely and play music and raise money for charity at the same time.
