everyone loves a costume party, and when I mean everyone ... I say. Usually, I have to wait for Halloween every year to get dressed and I always try to impress. For the summer syndrome Potato Head Beach Club, I chose to go as a gangster of the 20s; think Al Capone, but much more beautiful. white hat, pinstripe shirt, dress pants, tuxedo shoes, finished with 20s spot -. fit for a night of epic proportions
After much laughter and point the finger pedestrians on Raya Seminyak, I finally flagged down a taxi. Entering the room, staff dressed as what I can only describe as Narnian Icemen raised white flags in perfect timing for our progressive approach and the scene was a bit of a show; the setting, costumes, makeup and choreography were surreal. It was a fantastic early evening coupled with low ground line tremble.
makeup stations and costume accessories were supplied with many rude boys and gals dressed in Apache Indian headdresses, kissing lips feather head and bracelets galore glitter. Costumes on the night ranged from your standard cliche in the most creative and downright kinky. Some notable alter ego were a superhero party, Peter Pan, Romans in togas, some controversial terrorist, a highly dubious Japanese school girl and my favorite -. The 80s hair metal rocker
To the delight of the crowd, less known Lyrical, Grime and other urban rhythms were played on the race for "The Kid". Then the moment everyone was waiting for: Kid Cudi stormed the stage with his entourage of real rap superstar mode. Fans went ab-so-lute-ly mad; the pool was crowded, lifting front axle and the roar of the coliseum Beckoning - absolute madness. crowd-hype and praise of Mr. Cudi was impressive with little to no breaks in verses or tracks and the crowd remained as excited for an hour when the rapper took the first step. Chart toppers like 'pursuit of happiness' 'Day N Night' and 'Souvenirs', his first breakthrough with David Guetta were crowd favorites.
