The family name, Soeryadjaya is power. Edwin Soeryadjaya has been incredibly successful with the energy company PT Adaro, among other companies, and his brother Edward Soeryadjaya with PT Astra (until 1997), and most recently the revitalization MRT Jakarta. Grand-son of the late, and often related to too great, William Soeryadjaya, adimas (Danny) Soeryadjaya took power of his family name on a more spiritual level, from the school of meditation, Soul Centre in Jakarta . Danny aims to pass on his knowledge and wisdom to those who wish to improve their lives, beginning in themselves through the art of meditation. I met this young guru at Hotel Garden Kemang to learn more about its history, teachings and methods.

"Did you know that the average human has over 60,000 thoughts a day?" Danny asked me as we discussed the practice of meditation. I knew I had a lot personally, but do not realize the true scale, which horrified me little. "The thoughts will affect your emotional state because they lead to feelings, and that will affect the actions you take, so you need to manage your thoughts."

At 29, Danny may not look like your average spiritual guru. Dressed in modern attire in his chosen color of pink (in admirable commemoration of the fight against breast cancer), it can be the opposite of what one would expect of a certified meditation teacher. He speaks openly and honestly about her experiences, not to mention a good laugh and laugh along the way.

Danny spiritual journey has been interesting, from Singapore. Meanwhile a work permit, he took so many activities that could work to the gym, salsa and bachata dance, reiki healing, Forex and stock prices. One day, he discovered the teachings of Vikas Malkani, author of "The Little Manual of Meditation" and "The Little Manual of happiness: 7 Simple Steps to a joyful life. With no previous experience
in meditation, he asked if he could join Vikas masters of meditation, advanced meditation class in soul Centre, Singapore. The Vikas response was simple: "Yes, but you must do everything I say to you" And Danny did just that, regardless of the difficult and repetitive manner the tasks assigned to him were

Danny managed to complete the Masters class of meditation, and continued to practice until it becomes a certified meditation teacher. He follows the teachings of his guru, Vikas and transmits his knowledge to his students telling stories and simple equations that Danny likes to draw and explain to you. I had the chance to live his teachings first hand and found his teaching style based, clear and useful. hugs are also a nice addition to the class, which we all need now and then.

"There are many misconceptions about meditation," Danny said. "many people think that c is a holistic nonsensical gibberish. "Instead, what Danny hopes to teach people the tools and techniques to be able to integrate the art of meditation in our daily lives, making inner peace, happiness and a healthy life goal to get. "But you must be willing to put in the hours practicing what you learn in your own time, knowing that finding that peace is not something that happens overnight." Danny teach you how to put the time, energy and effort by exploiting this ancient technique, if the will is there.

Danny classes available in Kemang, begin with meditation Made Simple, followed by meditation in action, consisting of four sessions each, both two hours. If you are a beginner or have had some experience in meditation, but are eager to learn more, you have to start with the course Meditation Made Simple, which will give you the fundamentals you need. You can then move to meditation in action, of course, and if you want to deepen, there is meditation masters course, which consists of 10 weekly sessions of 2.5 hours, followed by an examination. For the first two courses, you will receive two best-sellers as part of your training and you'll be in exceptional hands within a small group. The opportunity to study a onone is also available on request. All courses are good value for money.

It is clear that Danny has harnessed the power of the mind through meditation, as he overcame almost every fear he has. Ask her nonconformist activities he did to overcome his fears. These include skydiving (sometimes only wear a Speedo), fire walking and piercing. A skydiving guru? The opportunity to learn from someone like that does not come around often, so take it while you can and take that first step to a better life.
