"After moving to Jakarta in the United States it was 10 years ago, I realize that the only thing I really missed was the availability of major productions of the scene. When I started working with Jakarta players I decided that my only goal was to provide our audiences with access to some of Broadway classics, simply because there was such a demand and interest in Indonesia, "said Keith Allerton (Jakarta Players veteran and director). As you can see, the Broadway glamor swept the world, and thanks to some customers and enthusiastic, landed here in Jakarta.

What exactly "Broadway Ke Java"? the journey begins with two passionate theater connoisseurs, yet very different. as appropriate critical London tries to educate its audience about the classical and artistic beauty of musical theater, it is constantly under fire his down-home American nemesis who thinks Broadway is a little more "grainy." The two men argue bitterly their respective sides, using Broadway songs dear to prove their colon.

"We wanted to write a show, with a relaxed atmosphere in which we could get many people involved, and include Broadway numbers that capture the interest of an audience," says writer and director of the show Ariana Thurow.
