Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked is a musical ambition and scope that was not seen since Phantom of the Opera . The story is an extrapolation of Wizard of Oz , retracing the past two daughters, one just and beautiful (Glinda) and the other with emerald skin (Elphaba), which will become the witches of Oz. The show is the backdrop to the Wizard of Oz told in song, dance, pump and special effects. The result is a Broadway multimedia show that stunned audiences around the world. So far, the show has traveled the U.K., North America, Germany, Japan and Australia (among others) to full houses.
