Hash House Harriers also known as "Hash" can be found in many countries throughout the world and particularly in Southeast Asia, where it originated first in Kuala Lumpur, way back in 1938. the Hash is a social gathering of people known as "hashers" who meet regularly (usually weekly) for cross country followed a rally or " circle "in which certain flow of beer," fillers "are exchanged and there is even some singing.
Hashers have sometimes been described as a bunch of drinkers with a running problem. In truth, you need to be neither a drinker nor a rider to have fun with the Hash. But if you're not a keen runner or not working at all, do not worry, the Hash is a choice of tracks for everyone, very few people just enjoy a jog or a walk. Indeed, the Hash discourage people from taking too seriously the operation although there are some hashers called FRB (before execution Bastards), which are slightly inclined to emphasize the unhealthy aspect of being ' execution.
The important thing is that you can get out of the city, indulge in some exercise, meet all the expatriates of various nationalities bunch as well as locals and see the many places expatriates unaware. The race is set by "Hares" that marks the running track with shredded paper or off, including short sections of false leads that are intended to maintain both the fastest and runners slower and for the duration of the race.

Jakarta Hash House Harriers (JHHH) were founded in 1971 every Monday at 17:00. Hash JHHH once were predominantly male, but women's participation has been encouraged in recent years. JHHH Hash was the first to be established in Indonesia and has a strong tradition of telling a joke and some signature in the circle after the execution.

Jakarta Hash House Harriettes or Pussy Hash was founded in 1977 and executed both Wednesdays at 17:00. It is a predominantly female Hash meaning it is run by women, but men are welcome as long as they are in female domination.

Batavia Hash House Harrier Hoons (BH4) have was founded in 1986 and run every Thursday at 17:00. This strictly for men, except the last Thursday of each month when there is a mixed race. The BH4 circle is characterized by interactive distributed among the participants resulting in reward or punishment. These are the same - a beer mug

TGIS HHH (formerly TGIF HHH) ! is a mixed hash created in 1989, held originally on Friday, but now runs every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 16:00. This is a very popular group with a strong emphasis on the run post circle participation especially by those who are new to the hash.

Krakatau HHH is a hash family founded in 1992 which meets every third Saturday of the month. Krakatau HHH offers a wide variety of running land, including mountains, beaches, waterfalls, and beautiful rice fields in the province of West Java Bantan (less than 2 hours drive from Jakarta). Runs quickly begin at 15:00.

Betawi HHH , the youngest Chapter Hash founded in Jakarta 2000 is a mixed Hash works every Saturday at 16:00. They tap into a large group of local people and generally have a picnic as the format of a post cycle shorter term than other groups hash.
