"Women's voices are rarely, if ever, given the proper space to express themselves fully in public and we want to change that with this game, which itself is written by an author female. We want to give one of the most iconic female mythical characters, Eurydice, a chance to come forward and Orpheus myth and tell his own story-his own needs and wishes in its own unique way, and, ultimately decide the ending to his journey that is not governed by other forces (often male), "said the director Swedian Lie.
TV presenter and actress Marissa Anita (Eurydice ) believes Jakarta public will be able to take something special to the house after seeing this modern version of the popular Greek myth. "I think Eurydice is a touching and profound story about love and losing love. Not only the love of a spouse, but the love between a father and a daughter, "she said" It is poetic and lyrical and otherworldly -. Such a smart modern twist on Greek mythology. I love playing Eurydice, and I am pleased that we bring this story to an audience of Jakarta! "
Director Swedian Lie encourages people of all ages to come and watch the show.
