This is a novel by Ernest Hemingway, the old man and the sea . For eighty four days "old man" Santiago had managed to catch fish to sell. He was considered "Saloa" unfortunate. Manolin leaves his young assistant working with fishermen more successful, but it is always dedicated and loyal to him; the old man had after all taught him to fish. On the fifth day, eighty, the old man traveled alone and baited a Leviathan of a marlin. After a Herculean epic struggle, it dominates marlin and binds the carcass on his skiff. It considers that this fish does not deserve to be eaten because of the struggle and dignity fish showed in dying. Santiago runs the house. Again, he fights, but with the sharks who smell blood trails. They devour marlin and Santiago are left with the skeleton. The exhausted Santiago sleeps on his back. In the morning, fishermen and tourists marvel at the capture. Manolin is relieved Santiago is safe and his love for the old man is evident by his care and help every day. Now Santiago is unlucky, he caught the biggest fish and he and Manolin agreed to work together again!

This is an inspiring story of strength, desire, suffering, pride, respect, friendship, endurance, love and reputation, which leads me to this designer, Aurelia Santoso. The Aurelia name could belong to an exotic flower, a mystical and theatrical prose. It can also be interpreted as "golden", but one could imagine such a name as the main character in one of the finest Shakespeare or a Greek mythology.

I met Aurelia its studios in Kuningan. It is light, delicate, strong and beautiful elegance; a "Steel Magnolia". Aurelia's love of all things fashion started early. When as an ankle-biter, his father remembers that she began to draw and express what she would one day become his vocation, a great designer. She drew her inspiration for the two collections of his love of fishing with his father, the novel The Old Man and the Sea , the ocean and the 1920 science fiction metropolis. Reading the book and watch the movie, its interpretation of both in his creations is apparent. It will be a force to be reckoned with. Everything is in your blood that you see; her grandmother made wedding dresses in a small studio, where you could say that informal learning Aurelia began. Grandmother fed his design skills and is now retired, but quietly proud.

Aurelia artistic journey took the bridal studio in the City of Angels Otis School of Art & Design, interned with print Queen Mary Katrantzou, while Raffles Design Institute Singapore and full circle back to Jakarta . She cites her influences as movies, new and old, old books - (English) classic - places and people. The ocean holds magic and sentimental value for her too; its vastness transmits a world of limits under which the imagination can flow with unimaginable infinity spectacular results.

The drawings are smart, earthy, elegant and durable. Tulles (reminds him of fishing nets), chiffons, satins and crepes add many dimensions to the two collections. It is an elegant clean and modern look with overlays to give the magnitude and diversity clothing. The prints on clothes are clean Aurelia opus creativity. It is genius.

That is something for everyone.

The Couture collection, Aurelia Santoso, is a sophisticated, beautifully designed mail system. With this, Aurelia enthused that "let his imagination run wild, no borders" It has elements of a futuristic world. Think Metropolis meets Blade Runner, High Society meeting and it works damn good
