Keyaki is housed under the roof of hotel Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta Central Jakarta. It was first established in 1976 with the opening of the hotel. Since then, Keyaki has undergone some renovations to get to its current state and even changed its name to its current Furusato Keyaki. The place has since remained true to its brand authentic Japanese cuisine in a fusion of sushi restaurants of sea in the city.
At the entrance, a Robatayaki counter is proudly displayed. This is the Japanese way of grilling, and you will enjoy a fresh seafood assortment to choose from at this bar. First, we had dinner on the Nama Yasai Mori, or a fresh garden salad (45K). As said earlier, freshness is the key to this well respected restaurant, and it is still apparent in the preparation of salad. Order the fresh salmon or tuna nigiri sushi and you will not be disappointed. The dish assortment of tempura Keyaki (150K) is an instant favorite as a starter, with vegetables, shrimp and fish tempura with soy dip tempura. The crispness of tempura is just right and was a delicious start to the meal.
The food was prepared quickly and elegantly our sushi arrived. The avocado roll with salmon (87K) was exquisite and fresh, it disappeared in seconds. Another winner in the sushi menu is the special Hot (86K) which is also a roll of salmon with avocado and spicy seasoning. This roll takes the trophy salmon is lightly smoked and is simply the sky palace.
Another sushi platter to arrive was the Rock 'n Roll (98K), which consisted of scallops, grilled eel, shrimp and bonito flakes. This roller is especially crisp in and grilled scallops on top bottom practically in your mouth. Served with a little mayonnaise, this is a great dish sushi fusion Keyaki.
One of the most recommended, the appetizing dishes at Keyaki is Zen Gindara Teriyaki (276k). This is a menu with fresh cod fillet and well seasoned with teriyaki sauce Keyaki. This dish is served with rice, miso soup, salad and a mini-game tempura. The set is a great option for lunch. The entire teriyaki beef (240K) is another favorite of patrons of Keyaki.
This is not the end of the meal before dessert is served. Keyaki offers a range of ice creams and sorbets flavors, served with red bean paste on top to 48K / scoop. One of the tastier is ice cream with black sesame (75K / scoop) and it is homemade. Other options for dessert include fresh fruit, fried banana with honey and Black Forest.
Keyaki drinks are just as important as it complements your experience of authentic Japanese cuisine. Beer is served all day, sake is popular during lunchtime and green tea is always flowing.
simple dinners are seen by the peloton at Keyaki, but the business lunch tables amateur group also frequent the restaurant, especially during the weekends when the buffet weekend deal (210K ..) is on offer.
