As a teenager, Andrea delighted to read books of Edgar Cayce on reincarnation. In San Francisco as a "love child" in the early 1970s, she discovered her intuitive powers and supplemented his income by doing Tarot readings for urban, gay, distinguished couples, hippies in Haight- Ashbury and men business suit and tie of the Financial District.
a natural intuitive, Andrea studied and Tarot reading for most of his adult life. Painting, singing, writing poetry , breed Persian cats for fun and profit, playing "stage mother" as a karaoke host, and make a fool of herself in a group of Ubud improvisational comedy are just some of his hobbies.
Andrea has taken graduate courses in counseling psychology at Ohio State University, has worked for over 20 years as a professional counselor, is the author of two books , was ordained as a lay minister, and has taught numerous workshops on the Tarot, relationships, and male / female compatibility factors.

What is your professional background?
After a stressful career as a writer and reporter / feature for Scripps-Howard newspapers, I created the SoulMates Center in La Jolla and Newport Beach, California for twenty years, specializing in putting and related consulting relationship. I wrote a book, "What's my type?" On gender compatibility issues and taught throughout California for Learning Annex, a "university without walls." Today, I live and work in Ubud Tarot card reading for individuals and couples.
What is the Tarot?
Tarot is an intuitive art. most psychics use some sort of tool to harness and focus their energies, such as astrology, palmistry, crystal ball, I Ching, Tarot etc. is the language I use to communicate with Spirit. I like the advice and help people, so it was a joy for me learn the symbolic language of Tarot. When you learn the many meanings of the cards, it becomes a visual language that stimulates the psychic connections.
How do you prepare for a session of Tarot?
I usually do my reading in my house, in a private space respectful. I do this for client confidentiality, and also because I'm so sensitive, to keep outside interference to distract myself by listening and receiving communications from my third eye through visions, inner hearing and empathic emotion . As I am only a channel for Spirit, I always begin each reading with a prayer and a blessing to surround playback with the protection and get the help of the Spirit by allowing me to become a channel for light, wisdom and clarity.
How does one read?
A reading usually takes an hour or more. The longer, more in detail, I am able to give. After a prayer, I shuffle the cards, the customer divides the bridge into three packages, then choose one of the packages that I will work with. I place the card in a complex layout where each position represents an aspect of querant, the person asking the questions. For example, a position represents the client's home, another past them, another current conflict and yet another aspect of the future as it will develop. I read every card as a sentence in a paragraph in a history of the life of the querant, weaving a metaphorical story. When I read the whole layout (there may be 30-40 cards read), I turn over all cards, and my client and ask other clarifying questions. Usually, in time, I can answer any customer questions.
What kind of advice do you give advice?
People come to me because they need help, information, management, clarification of values and goals. Because I have professional training in counseling psychology, many customers prefer to seek advice from a psychic like me, rather than a psychotherapist. If they are open to advice, I offer them suggestions before, during and after reading. I try to help them think more clearly about a situation, try to help them consider options, encourage them to think "outside the box", and allow them to validate their feelings. I help clients make difficult decisions, enable them to progress in their lives with clarity and insight.
I get a lot of customer emails confirming my predictions. I sometimes send e-mails seeking comment, confirming what I expected was 80 to 90% accuracy.
Have you also read for couples
Sometimes a couple will want to know the important things to prepare for forthcoming events :? A movement, a job opportunity, a return on an investment. Sometimes they want to know if they will stay together. In such cases, the Tarot help me see if there are significant problems in the relationship. I usually ask my clients if they would like to work with me on the treatment of these issues and find solutions so that they can be happy together.
Do you still use a Ouiji advice?
The Council Ouiji became my "toy." Favorite that I was a wonderful time to tell the fortune of children on my street. Then my mother, concerned mother hid the distance map. I can not find it again after she had died in old age, tucked in an old trunk.
