curious, fashionable, influential people in Jakarta, resplendent in their finery, turned out in full force at fashion Week Indonesia to observe and advise on the goods of great designers of the earth.

With the sprawling room adorned with elegant black, the pump and the ceremony took place. There were ambassadors, speeches and presentations - I felt a strange sense of patriotism that the national anthem was sung. beating drums welcomed everyone and pointed out four major days in the fashion industry.

Day 1

Romantic Cotton showed us "A picnic in the spring." It was sweet cotton candy with almost edible pastel shaped skirts, tops and simple shirtdresses.

Seyla Retty we went down boho-chic street, with whimsical chiffon caftans and beautifully embellished. This is Marrakech encounter Miami, just embrace chic Bedouin.

Winny Nagawaty "A City movement" sent the models on the runway in the Supreme lock color black and white, but popping with colors like aqua blue form Chiffon jackets, shorts, skirts and pants.

Everlasting Batik by Elda Veronica saw the color-infused batik played by 50s-inspired skirts and tops tempting gelato colors.

Zikin - a tribute to Paris. A classic black and white combo with red injection made the retro and contemporary collection. The flowing skirts, jaunty hats perched seductively on the head, corset tops models and wide leg pants made for an elegant original collection.

Tyra Modeste presented a show of lush velvet green and purple mixed with Aztec-like impressions. The collection was clever in its simplicity and easy on the eye.

Dana Duryatna - enter a world of cool. Full of fringing and tassels, necklaces, gold platforms and floating dresses, which is very Elizabeth Taylor-esque.

Later in the day Zalora , an emporium of fashion, showed its wares. In many ways, the show does not excite - the redeeming feature was the soundtrack. If they aim to be the answer of Asia ASOS then it has a way to go, but he leans in the right direction.

sea-green dresses Ivan Gunawan

Ivan Gunawan showed why he is one of the most beloved designers and personalities Jakarta. Thalassa, the sea goddess, inspired his collection, composed of shimmering, mesmerizing silver representative sunlight as it bounces off the waves - a vision that is both soothing and beautiful. The sea-green robes were, for me, the best part of the collection.

Wandering along the house stands maze designer, I discovered a lot of fun as a jewelry designer Kayikala whose designs are delicately subtle stand-out.

I came across Steven Huang . His creations are delightfully unique. At first glance, dresses gave the impression of being made of paper, but of course they are not. A strapless dress in camouflage and an interesting cut top caught my attention, not to mention tops and skirts padded snakeskin print.

Day 2

Muslim-wear was at its best, with diverse and glorious means to wear the hijab . Observing the tradition has never been appealing. I loved the AIRA Muslim bridal wear; delicate and ethereal with an antique feel of the 1920s

Vivi Zubedi -. Color cover-up blocking with prints 'Aztec' to give a touch of color

denim high waist pants Dini Pratiwi Irawati

Kaimma Malabis red is the theme of this collection - long skirts and headdresses with flair flows.

Simply Mii - the collection was cool with hip-taupe and mint green making an unlikely coupling, causing a feeling of freshness. The cleverly cut pants with slits "false" showed us how not showing the flesh, but always sexy research should be done.

Monel - was oddly elegant hairstyles and use of gray, cream, brown and green sea provided a delicious variety to feast on

.

JenaHara Navajo bravely mixed with the Muslim garment with spectacular results. I liked the little touches, like the belt of feathers, PANTALOON skirts and dream catchers attached to headgear.

Day 3

Saturday night saw Step 1 packed. Three designers showed and the standout for me was ALGARRY by Albert Yanuar. The captivating print, reminiscent of dragons and floral motifs in the Ming dynasty porcelain was breathtaking. A full skirt dress with blue panels in the back was deliciously chic.

The piece de resistance was a beautiful dress, in which the middle of the track, the model performed a Houdini and removed the bottom half, turning it into a cape!

Klé - it was chic, boho-Birkenstock traveler with a strangely weird call - tunics skirts and chunky platforms. lime green pants, cropped tops, fighting style and shin-length pants in orange brought some spice to an otherwise muted collection. If more shorts leggings are your thing, bomber jackets with oversized and paired random colors, then this is for you.

Rinda Salmun introduced us to "Elevation". A monochrome-fest saw a combination sleeveless teamed with shoes / moccasin-type laces preppy. A swirling psychedelic top with a pair of pants "both sides" was sensational - the front of the gray trousers, black back with a tuxedo stripe pink just to complicate things! It was a mish-mash beauty collection. The best bit was perhaps a trouskirt (trousers and skirt) -. beautiful pants with an attached gear

Sav Lavin - a collection of moody, even if part of the collection was clinically white. Tops adorned with symbols and signs, some with honeycomb cutouts. A gray dress, metallic bell sleeves change was simply exquisite and thus was a black dress with sleeves of the cage. The white dress with interesting quirks would be home on Katy Perry.

Day 4

Bintang MIRA batik collection was - beautiful with embellishments and intelligently cut shapes. The checked material mixed with black and tan fabric makes for a very portable, cool sets.

Both Dhiantia and Francesca Irene product worthy collections.

The collection standout was a furlong Dini Pratiwi Irawati . Denim never looked so majestic and elegant. Grated sleeve jacket was cool streetwise. I loved the high jean pants size - it would look great with a huge sleeved chiffon gown red blood. worthy red carpet.

Anne Avantie showed us how to make grandiose simplicity-the nth degree. His best collection yet; lighter, brighter and more youthful in style.

collection Peggy Hartanto -. Done well, portable and original
